Andres Serrano is an american artist who lives in New York. He most often explores themes linked to social problems, sex or religion. Frequently accused of being provocative, his choice of artistic material is daring, using themes that tend towards the controversial.
He is also very keen on composition and his work captures a sense of aestheticism, giving an iconic quality to the subjects photographed.
